Junior Invitational Launches New Look, Website

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (January 30, 2017) – The Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club has launched a new look and website to kick off its seventh year of competition. Recognized as the most competitive junior golf event in the world, the Junior Invitational will host the world’s top 54 junior golfers April 20 – 22 at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, S.C.

The Junior Invitational has introduced a new logo that gives the tournament a more iconic look and feel, according to Tournament Director Elaine Barnhill, and a new website that is more comprehensive and responsive for viewing on any desktop application or mobile device.

“We are committed to continued improvement of the tournament experience for players, parents, sponsors and spectators,” Barnhill said. “The new Junior Invitational website gives us an improved communication tool and a more powerful platform for sharing information before, during and after the tournament.”

The Junior Invitational website is an information source for players, spectators and volunteers, and will feature live leaderboard updates during the tournament on April 20, 21 and 22. Website visitors also will find player information and detailed descriptions of each hole on the Sage Valley course.

About the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club

Since 2011, the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club has been recognized as the most competitive junior golf event in the world. The game’s top 54 players are invited to participate in a professionally styled event, where they have the opportunity to meet sponsors and NCAA coaches, while playing one of the country’s most exciting courses. The generous support of these benefactors allows players to attend at no personal cost for travel or accommodations, while raising nearly $1.5 million for the First Tee chapters in Aiken and Augusta in the first six years. Tournament organizers are looking forward to supporting additional children's charities that provide programs focused on asset building and life skills enrichment. The 2017 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club will be held April 20 – 22. For more information, visit www.juniorinvitational.com.
