Junior Invitational Welcomes TaylorMade as its Official Equipment Sponsor

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (March 20, 2017) – As part of its ongoing commitment to junior golf, TaylorMade Golf Company has signed on as the official equipment sponsor of the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club, to be held April 20 – 22 in Graniteville, South Carolina.

TaylorMade officials will be on hand during tournament week, providing instructional opportunities and working with players in a variety of ways on the course, according to Tournament Director Elaine Barnhill.

"We’re delighted to welcome TaylorMade as our official equipment provider and as a partner in the philanthropic efforts of the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley," Barnhill said. "TaylorMade joins Nike Golf, Electrolux, Fluor and Canadian Pacific Railway in helping to create a memorable tournament experience for our players, parents and patrons, and more importantly, to help support tournament beneficiaries, The First Tee chapters in Augusta, Georgia and Aiken, South Carolina."

About the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club

Since 2011, the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club has been recognized as the most competitive junior golf event in the world. The game’s top 54 players are invited to participate in a professionally styled event, where they have the opportunity to meet sponsors and NCAA coaches, while playing one of the country’s most exciting courses. The generous support of tournament sponsors allows players to attend at no personal cost for travel or accommodations, and has raised nearly $1.5 million for the First Tee chapters in Aiken and Augusta. Tournament organizers look forward to supporting additional children's charities that provide programs focused on asset building and life skills enrichment.
