This is Schmidt’s first appearance at the Junior Invitational. He recently captured the 2020 NSW Amateur. He won three amateur events in 2019 including the English Boys’ Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters and the English Men’s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Schmidt is also a Lee Westwood Trophy Champion, Brabazon Trophy Champion, Carris Trophy Champion and Henriques Salver Winner. Schmidt currently plays on the England Boys National Squad.
