Van Paris makes his second appearance at the Junior Invitational in 2020. He played in the Rolex Junior All American in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, he won the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship. He played a round of 32 in 2018 US Amateur Championship at Pebble Beach as 14-year-old, the youngest to win match in US Am since Bobby Jones in 1916. He has verbally committed to Vanderbilt University.
