Potter is making his second appearance at the Junior Invitational in 2020. He played for Team USA in the 2018 Evian Championship Junior Cup where he finished with a final score of 10-under-par. He was named to the 2018 Rolex Junior All-America Boys Second Team and earned first place at the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
