Summerhays returns to Sage Valley for the 2020 Junior Invitational. He is the reigning U.S. Junior Amateur, after winning the tournament in 2019. At the age of 15, Preston became the youngest winner of the Utah State Amateur. He followed up the victory by qualifying for the U.S. Amateur with scores of 65 and 60 at the qualifying event. His 60 broke the course record at Soldier Hollow Golf Course and came just one week before his 16th birthday. In addition to these amazing achievements, Preston also took home third at the IMG Academy Junior World Championships and fifth at the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship.
