After playing in the 2019 Junior Invitational, Wilkes went on to win the AJGA Junior at Saddlebrook last May. Wilkes became the Foley Performance AJGA Champion in 2019. In 2018 he won the Jim Bell Memorial Junior. He finished first in the 2017 and 2018 Florida Boys Junior Championship. He has committed to play at the University of Florida upon graduation in 2020.
